What to Bring to Registration

IF YOU ARE 15 (and already passed written test) OR 16:

You can show up to the office during office hours, without any notice, with the following documents for the student driver:

            1.  ORIGINAL STATE ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE, or U.S. PASSPORT

          2. ORIGINAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD

          3. WRITTEN EXAMINATION STUB ("THE BLUE CARD") - IF YOU HAVE NOT PASSED THE WRITTEN TEST, WE OFFER THAT AT NO CHARGE IN

OUR OFFICE FOR 16 YEAR OLDS.

          4. PAYMENT FOR THE 6 HOURS.

After finishing the 6 hour program, the permit is brought back to the DMV to be validated, and schedule a road test date/time.  No trips to the DMV for you.  When you are ready to take your Road Test, we offer a Road Test Service, which provides you with transportation to your road test in the vehicle you have been given lessons.

* Academy School of Driving realizes the importance, safety, and sensitivity of these documents and will always have these documents in their possession, or in a locked safe, when not needed by the DMV. We thank you for your trust with these documents as well as your own personal safety.

IF YOU ARE 17 OR OLDER:

SIMPLY CALL THE OFFICE TO SCHEDULE LESSONS -

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID NEW JERSEY PERMIT OR LICENSE TO RECEIVE LESSONS FROM A NJ DRIVING SCHOOL.
