What to Bring to Registration

The student must supply the following to Academy School of Driving, so we can obtain the permit prior to instruction:

1. Original State issued Birth Certificate, or  U.S. Passport
2. Social security card
3.  If the student has passed the exam in school: bring the "blue card" or "score card". This is a card issued by the high school, which states that the student has passed the test.
4. Payment for the 6 Hours

After finishing the 6 hour program, the permit is brought back to the DMV (MVC) to validate it, and to assign the student a road test date.  No trips to the DMV for you. When you are ready to take your Road Test, we offer a Road Test Service which provides you with transportation to your road test in the vehicle in which you had been given lessons.  

** Academy School of Driving realizes the importance, safety, and sensitivity of these documents and will always have these documents in their possession, or in a locked safe, when not needed by the DMV. We thank you for your trust with these documents as well as your own personal safety.
